suitcase luggage bag

If there is one thing that is usually a headache when you start a trip, it is, without a doubt, the fact that you have to pack your bags, packing your luggage. No matter how much we have travelled or are used to doing so, when the time comes, there is usually also the nervousness associated with the idea of leaving something behind or carrying too much luggage for just a few days.

To avoid that anxious situation and to make this process easier, here's a list of things you shouldn't miss should not be missing in your suitcase for any good trip..

  1. Documentation. First and foremost, make sure you have all your personal documentation, including accommodation bookings, flight reservations, etc.
  1. In addition, it is always advisable to carry a copy of your of your documentation and reservations in the cloud, to avoid problems in case you lose the originals.
  2. Although it's not exactly a material thing, don't forget to travel with good travel insurance - essential for risk-free travel.
  3. The first-aid kit, that great ally that you will turn to whenever you feel unwell and that will be your salvation, is another of the things that should not be missing in your suitcase for any good trip.
  1. Clothing appropriate to the destination you are travelling to. Here, no just in case 😉
  2. A mackintosh or windbreakers never go amiss, especially if you're travelling somewhere with a high probability of rain.

  11. Toilet bag. Including everything necessary for hygiene and personal care.
  12. Microfibre towel. It may seem like an unnecessary extra, but we assure you that when the time comes, having a small towel at hand, which doesn't take up any space, can be very useful.
  13. Pyjamas. Although it may not seem like it, it is one of the items of clothing that we tend to forget the most when we travel. when we go on a trip.
  14. Zippered bags for storing dirty, wet clothes or even things that should not get wet.
  15. Cash and several cards. You never know when you might need them.
  16. Although we are firm advocates of local cuisine, we must confess that, when the time comes, it never hurts to reserve a space in our suitcase for a small snack (chocolates or biscuits). They will help us to kill our hunger at some point during our trip.
  17. Once you have your luggage packed, check it! We assure you that this will eliminate at least 20% of your suitcase and leave out what you are not going to use.
  18. A desire to enjoy yourself! That's the most important thing you can pack in your suitcase and that will ensure that your trip is a GREAT trip!
Street Travellers
"Viajeros Callejeros", is a blog in which its authors, Vanessa and Roger, write about the trips we make around the world, writing practical guides for each one of them, with which we try to bring the reader closer to the destination, providing practical information so that they can organise their own trip on their own, with first-hand information. As we explain and is reflected in the blog, travelling is our great passion and has become, today, our job and way of life".
